I keep trying to publish this darn blog and it won't. But what I've been trying to say is, I never did do a radio update. Right now you can still catch me producing The Clay Young Show mornings 5-9 on 1300 WIBR, but you can also catch me on the air afternoons live on 103.3, B103. That' s gonna last until June 10, so listen while you can. After that, I shouldn't live here quite so much, so maybe you'll actually see me rather than just hearing me while you drive to really cool places to do really cool things while I work.

On a positive note, I've begun training for a marathon, and it's going very well so far. It's for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's TEAM in Training, to raise money for patients here in Baton Rouge, to increase awareness, and to promote healthy living. I'll post a link here as soon as I get my website set up so you can track my progress, and, if you can, help me reach my goal. :-)

forgot to say!

I forgot to give an update on the radio gig...so, I'm still doing mornings, producing the Clay Young Show on 1300 WIBR, and for the next month or so I'm the live afternoon dj on 103.3, B103 FM. So, yeah, that's why I'm here in the afternoons, just twiddling my thumbs and taking quizzes while i talk on the air and push buttons. And talking online...you can IM me at ASHL1212 if you didn't already know that. Talk to me about the magical world of radio, and what it's like to be a Citadel Broadcasting radio diva (who makes next to nothing and works long, crappy hours.) :-) I love it...really. Promise. I mean it. Stop looking at me like that. Yes, I've been evaluated, and yes, I'm sane.

So yes, the tedium of afternoon radio has pushed me to the edge of sanity...and caused me to resort to taking online quizzes that don't do anything to add to my quality of life. I should find something useful to do, but there is not enough time between talkovers and traffic and phone calls (etc) to build up enough concentration to block out the "continuous soft favorites" in the background in order to really accomplish...well, anything.
